if you're not playing melodic hooks on long island, no one gives a shit about you. maybe that's why raging thrash-punk bands like turncoat don't get the time of day and break up before their time.
these adolescent trouble makers started out as tricked out, played a lot of great sets to idiots standing around with their arms crossed, and ultimately ended it recently at the rockstar bar. fortunately for you, they went down swinging and recorded 11 tracks of blitzkrieg hardcore in the vein of antidote, krakdown, and urban waste with phil douglas at the hobo house. turn this on, skate hard, and punch your life in the face; anything less is for suckers. this is limited to 150 copies (digital download only after that). each cassette purchase comes with a free redeemable mp3/lyric sheet download. pressing info: 150 o-card cassettes, lyric sheet $4 |

raging debut single from long island's sweatiest band, youthviolence. the antithesis of the "long island sound"; dirty, heavy hardcore that fits nicely in your collection somewhere between left for dead and floorpunch.
one-time pressing of 500 copies on colored vinyl from another fucking dimension. each 7" purchase comes with a free redeemable mp3/lyric sheet download. pressing info: 500 black/clear, 25 hardcore rules covers, hardcore rules back, 5 test presses, test front, test back $5 |

capital is a band you should get to know. with honest, relatable lyrics and driven, fast music you can't beat them. that's not even mentioning all the ex/current member lists you can make.
back in 2006 they released their debut on iron pier and dropped their sophmore on the mighty REV. now three years later, iron pier and just a audial will be joining teams to bring these neglected and unheard songs to the world. available on three varieties of color vinyl. each 7" purchase comes with a free redeemable mp3 download. pressing info: 300 red, 100 white, 100 pink, variation, record release, release front, release back, 11 test presses, test front, test back $5 |

this is the second single from youthviolence, an example of their punker sounding side. faster, shorter tunes but still just as pissed. at some point this may end up on a short run of cassettes but for now this is available for free for all the people asking for more than just the two songs from "kafir" single.
free mp3/lyric sheet download. pressing info: 40 cassettes, lyric sheet |

everything sucks is attempting to make sense of their lives, while finding their place as a band amongst a million fucking bands. the taxes and texas is their debut full length release. with subject matter ranging from tedious jobs, bummer bands, sexual activity, family deaths, love, friendship, twentysomething aimlessness, and the best bad jokes. musically, these songs posses an intensity that harkens back to certain intense bands from the 1990's. when presented as a whole, this record is a cohesive statement of uncertainty in the year 2009 on a long island with a musical history that both helps and hinders anyone wishing to add to it. it's your call now; success or failure. good luck, i hope you make it.
this lp is available in conjunction with our good pals at dead broke rekerds! first 100 copies on orange, next 150 on black with redeemable download. also available on itunes, amazon and myspace music for your digital kids. this is a PRE-ORDER, records will start shipping next week! |
